Caro: Samstagabend hat es in Quito auf einmal wieder angefangen zu regnen und der nette Taxifahrer hat mir auf dem Weg zum Flughafen schon gesagt, dass wahrscheinlich kein Flugzeug mehr landen wird. Dort angekommen, war es dann auch ein ziemlicher Nervenkrieg, da auf den Bildschirmen staendig etwas anderes angezeigt wurde und keiner so richtig wusste, ob die Flugzeuge erst am naechsten Tag kommen. Schliesslich landete die Maschine aus Atlanta dann doch 1,5 h spaeter in Quito und Matze kam, wie alle anderen Passagiere ziemlich weiss durch die Tuer, da der Flug wohl ziemlich torbulent war. Trotzdem war ich uebergluecklich und total erleichtert ihn endlich wieder umarmen zu koennen.
Bis zum naechsten Tag wusste ich nicht, dass es soetwas wie "Hoehenkrankheit" wirklich gibt, aber Matze ging es anfangs auf 2900m Hoehe nicht gut. Ein paar Bilder sind uebrigens von unserem Hostal in Quito. Maria war Sonntagabend noch mit auf der Terasse zum indischen Essen. Danach mussten wir uns nach 3 Monaten verabschieden... :( Matze und ich sind dann erstmal die Berge ein Stueckchen runter ins warme, sonnige, blumige, ruhige, gruene Mindo gefahren, wo es ihm dann auch gleich besser ging.
